• Diagnosis and Management of Acute Otitis Media (AOM) (PDF)
  The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians
  These guidelines recommend giving parents of select children with AOM the option of waiting 48-72 hours before starting antibiotics. Great news for appropriate antibiotic use!
  
  
• Influenza Immunization Policy Statement
  The American Academy of Pediatrics
  Young, healthy children are at high risk of hospitalization for influenza infection. Therefore, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends influenza immunization for healthy children between 6 and 24 months of age, for household contacts and out-of-home care givers of all children younger than 24 months of age, and for health care professionals.
